Polarity Selectors and Universal Power Adapters

Some of the Universal Power Adapters from CyberPower feature a polarity selector. This selector enables you to choose positive or negative polarity to match the requirement of the device you want to connect to the adapter.

The polarity (positive or negative) required by such a device will typically be identified in the device’s user manual and/or on the device itself. If the device does not have a polarity specification, contact the manufacturer of the device and ask for the information.

CAUTION: An incorrect polarity might damage the device. Check to make sure that the polarity selector on the Universal Power Adapter is set to the proper polarity for the device you want to connect.
