OVERVIEW
The Vice President of Sales is a critical role that oversees CyberPower’s sales strategies and objectives to strengthen the company’s market position and achieve desired revenue and business goals. This position manages all sales aspects including increasing revenue at current accounts and focusing the team on new business in vertical markets and strategic target accounts. This position reports to the President/General Manager and will interact on a regular basis with sales, administration, customer service, and management staff. This position works cooperatively with others.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and Execute Sales Strategy: Plans, directs, and oversees the execution of all aspects of sales policies, objectives, and initiatives.
- Drive Revenue Growth: Develops the annual sales plan and holds the sales team accountable to support CyberPower’s strategy and objectives for the United States, Canada, and Latin America.
- Team Leadership: Builds, develops, mentors, motivates, and manages the sales team.
- Market Expansion: Manages multiple selling strategies and finds new markets for our solutions and services.
- Customer Relationship Management: Forges and maintains strong relationships with key clients and partners, proactively meeting their needs to ensure ongoing satisfaction and loyalty.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborates with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure a cohesive sales strategy that supports CyberPower’s strategic objectives.
- Carries out all supervisory responsibilities in a fair, consistent, and respectful manner and in accordance with the company’s policies and applicable laws.
- Attendance is an essential function of this position.

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Sales or related field.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the field with at least 10 years in a leadership position.
- Success leading a sales team utilizing a CRM system.
- Proven track record building client relationships, negotiation, prospecting, and meeting sales goals.
- Proficient problem analysis, planning, execution, and resolution skills at a strategic and functional level.
- Effective ability developing a team to meet or exceed company goals consistently.
- Professional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills that produce desired results.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers which includes coworkers, managers, customers, regulatory agencies, and vendors in a timely manner.
- Capable of reading and interpreting information, such as reports, general correspondence, and policy guidelines, with the ability to share with others as needed.
- Ability to use a computer and standard business and other work-related software with minimal instruction.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Proven excellent active listening, decision-making, team building and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work and prioritize independently with the capacity to collaborate with others effectively.
- Excellent time and organizational abilities with the ability to seek assistance in a professional manner.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.
- Flexible, organized, personable; professional attire required.
- Some travel may be required.

- While performing these duties the person is regularly required to walk, stand, bend, climb stairs, kneel, or crouch and successfully demonstrate the ability to write or use a computer or other electronic devices and operate a variety of hand and power tools.
- Employees in this position may need to lift at least 5 lbs. and up to 30 pounds occasionally and may need to exert themselves while performing the above-mentioned duties.
- Ability to drive a car and travel to worksites. Employee will be reimbursed mileage according to corporate reimbursement schedule if using a personal vehicle.
