Wirecutter, an online product recommendation website from the New York Times, recently named the CyberPower CP900AVR UPS System as the best UPS for a home network in 2024.
Wirecutter cited the model’s runtime, ease-of-use, and compact size. The model was also recognized as an ideal battery backup solution for most people during common power outages.
The CyberPower CP900AVR UPS review also highlighted its premium features commonly found in battery backup solutions costing twice as much. Among these features was automatic voltage regulation (AVR) that provides more reliable power to connected devices that are unable to tolerate power drops and extends the overall life of the unit.
Wirecutter’s evaluations were based on feature set, in-house performance testing, warranty terms, and overall design.
